Episode Review: Henry's Forest

 Season3, Episode 9
Air Date: December 16th, 1991
Writer(s): Britt Allcroft, David Mitton

Summery
Henry likes visiting the forest, one day on the way home from work, Henry went to see it, but that night there was a big storm. In the morning, Henry discovered that the wind had blown over most of the trees. Sir topham hatt told Toby to take new trees to plant. When Henry went back to the forest, he was surprised to see Terrence and Trevor working hard hauling the old trees out, and the work man planting new ones. Once more Henry could enjoy the peaceful forest.

Review
I enjoyed this episode, and I liked the music. In the TTTE Wikia "Goofs" section. it says that Sir topham hatt had a black car, but I never noticed that. The joke about Gordon was, a little funny. Over all I thought the episode was great.

Over all I give this episode a 10/10

Episode Review: Diesel Does It Again

Season 3, Episode 8
Writer(s):Britt Allcroft, David Mitton
Air Date: December 17th, 1991

Summery
Duck and Percy get tired from working at the docks. Sir topham hatt soon hears about the news and sends Diesel to help. Duck and Percy don't like Diesel, so they stayed in there sheds and told Sir top ham hatt that they wouldn't work with him. The next day Diesel was in a bad mood, so he bumped the cars, and knocked some in to the sea. Sir topham hatt came and sent Diesel away, but Duck and Percy didn't mind the extra work.

Review
This is the first time I've seen Sir top hamhatt eat a Iced Bun. I liked Diesels' evil smile, and it seems like Diesel made a lot of other faces in this episode. Why didn't Diesel tell Percy that his driver forgot to put the brake on? That part of it was strange. Over all I didn't really like the episode.

Over all I give this episode a 4/10

Duck to Retrun In Season 17

Duck was last seen in season 12 four times, but now he will be seen in the first Wall-Mart exclusive DVD, Railway Mischief.  The new CGI version of Duck was seen at Hara Model Railway Museum, Yokohama. Duck, for some reason is way darker in the new CGI. This doesn't look anything like ARC animation.

I don't know what episode he is appearing in, but it's nice to see him again.

Episode Review: Thomas, Percy and the Dragon

Season 3, Episode 7
Writer(s):Britt Allcroft David Mitton
Air Date: November 18th, 1991

Summery
Percy is still teasing Thomas about how he thought Percy was a ghost. The next evening Thomas had to go to the docks to get a special delivery. When Thomas got to the docks he was surprised because it was a dragon, but his driver told him it was for the carnival. Meanwhile, Percy got stuck in the siding because the single broke. He had to stay there alone until the morning when it could be fixed. Soon after, Thomas puffed by with the Chinese dragon, Percy thought it was real, so he shut his eyes until his driver came in the morning. The next day when Percy told his friends about the dragon, they all thought it was a good joke. When Percy went to the station he saw Thomas with the dragon. He then told Thomas why he was scared.

Review
I think this is the best episode in season 3. For some reason other fans think most of season 3 is bad, but I enjoy this episode. I really enjoyed the music when Thomas was going by Percy with the dragon. The thing about Percy joking to Thomas is getting a little old in these story's, but over all I thought this episode was great.

Over all I give this episode a 9/10

Plot
Sir topham hatt gave Duck a new branch line. That night, Donald was at the shed with Duck. Duck wanted to tell Donald about his branch line, but Donald wanted to sleep, so he said Duck was quacking. The next morning Duck told his driver what Donald has said. His driver said they would play a trick on Donald. They snuck a duck in Donald's boiler. The next morning when Donald went for a drink he found the duck, it was a big surprise for his driver. Soon the duck got tired of Donald and got off at the station. Now the duck lives at the river. Then Donald's driver plays a trick on Duck, he puts an egg in a next behind Duck. In the morning Duck tells Donald that he won.

Review
Well, this episode was funny and kind of boring. I liked the jokes though. There is also a song titled Donald's Duck. You can see the song on You Tube hereDonald's Duck Song
I thought the joke about the egg was funny at the end. I never knew that Duck had his own branch line until I saw this episode again. Over all I thought this episode was OK and funny.

Episode Review: Gordon and the Famous Visitor

Season 3, Episode 4
 Writer(s): Reverend W. Awdry
Air Date: November 21st,1991

Plot
The City of Truro was visiting Sodor, and was the center of attention. Gordon thought it was a bunch of nonsense. Then Edward and Duck were talking and Gordon thundered by with the express trying to go as fast as the City of Truro. Then Gordon came to the viaduct where it was windy. Gordon went so fast that the wind knocked his dome off. On the was back home, Gordon asked his drover to go fetch his dome, but his driver said they would never find it. Back at the sheds one of the engines teased Gordon.

Review
I really liked the music at the beginning of the episode. It's strange that The City of Truro doesn't  have a face. Maybe that's why they never released a toy of him. There was one episode where the engines stayed up late talking to The City of Truro, but maybe that's a differn't episode. Over all I thought the episode was good and funny.

Over all I give this episode a 8/10

First Season 17 DVD for April 19th

The first season 17 DVD is a Wall-Mart Exclusive. The DVD is titled Railway Mischief. The episodes are: Gordon Runs Dry, Kevin's Cranky Friend, Scruff's Makeover, Wayward Winston and Steamie Winston.

I don't like the new faces on the engines. This reminds be a lot of Muddy Matters.  They should have put Winston on the bottom right hand side of the cover like they do with the other characters.

Episode Review: Time for Trouble

Season 3, Episode 3
Air Date: December 26th, 1991
Writer(s): Reverend W. Awdry

Plot
Gordon is tired so James does his work while Gordon has a rest. Then Sir Top Ham hatt tells Toby that his parts are worn, and that he must go to the works to be mended. James is just leaving the station with the express. Toby is puffing through the country side, and is running low on water. He finds a water tower, but the station master tells Toby that James is coming and that he must move on. Soon Toby runs out of water and James has to push him home with the train. Then at the station all the kids joke about how James got tired and that Toby had to pull the train.

Review
Why would the kids think that Toby could pull James and the express? I don't think s tram engines could pull an express engines and James. I don't really know what to say about this episode. Over all it was OK.

Over all I give this episode a 3/10

2nd King of the Railway Trailer on You Tube

The second King of the Railway trailer has been posted on You Tube by the user TheHIROD51. Connor and Caitlin are seen in this trailer, and are having a race. Millie is also seen in this trailer. They show a new section where Stephen gets lost and crashes. I still don't like the animation on the engine's faces.

Plot
Percy and Thomas get up early because it's cold. They are waiting for the firelighter, so they think about warm things. Thomas tells Percy that he needs a scarf, and Percy believes him. Latter, Percy trys to sneak in to the yard, but hits a crate that workman are rolling across the tracks. Jam and Sir topham hatts' special trousers go flying. Latter in the shed, Thomas tells Percy that the firelighter promised to come early the next morning.

Review
I didn't really like this episode. percys' line about Henrys' short funnel was funny. On the TTTE Wikia there is a deleted scene of a trublesome truck with jam on it's face. It seems that in this episode, all the good scenes are deleted.

Over all I give this episode a 6/10
