S18 Episode Review: Toad's Adventure

Season 18, Episode 5
Air Date: Unknown
Written By: Andrew Brenner

Summary
Toad was tired of hearing Olivers' same story about there escape from the scrap yard. Oliver left Toad in the yard to take some coaches, so Toad asked James to take him out hopping for an adventure of his own. James was pulling the cars really fast, but then they got to the top of the hill, and there was a branch which snapped the coupling.

Thomas and Percy were at the bottom of the hill, and Toad stopped the runaway car's just in front of Thomas' buffer's. Back at the yard Jame's said thanks for Toad's help, then Oliver came back and Toad told everyone about his big adventure.

Review
It was really nice to see Oliver and Toad again. It's odd that Sir Topham Hatt didn't get crosser with James. It's also strange that Thomas and Percy were on the same line, that's never happened on the show before. Over all I really enjoyed the episode.

Cranky spotted Diesel at the dock's, then Paxton started chasing him. Diesel hid behind a train of scrap, but Rex the crane told Paxton were he was.

Then Diesel ran out of fuel on his way to his next hiding place. Paxton shunted Diesel to the next station to get more fuel. Diesel didn't know what to say after he was mean to Paxton. That evening Paxton went back to the diesel work's, and found the other three diesel's there. Diesel pulled into the shed and smiled at Paxton.

Review
This episode was a funny one when the diesel's were hiding from Paxton at the beginning of the episode. Reg the crane seems to be a nice new character, and I think these episode's take place after Tale of the Brave.

S18 Episode Review: Flatbeds of Fear

Season 18, Episode 3
Air Date: Unknown
Written By: Laura Beaumont ,Paul Larson

Summary
It was a misty day on Sodor and Thomas was at the docks collecting some pipe's when he heard a strange horn sound. Salty told him it was the flatbeds of fear. He said the flatbeds of fear were three flatbeds that disconnected from a train, and you never know when they will roll by.

Cranky said he had enough of Saltys' story's. Then Thomas saw Henry and Emily at the yard's, he told them the same story, then the next day Henry was scared. Henry kept saying that he didn't want to hear the flatbeds of fear, but he just kept hearing other sound's and thinking it was the flatbeds of fear.

He was so scared that he stopped in a siding a wouldn't move. Emily had to come and take his load.Thomas went to the dock's to get some more pipe's, and he discovered that the flatbeds of fear was just the wind whistling through the pipe's, and Salty said he was only teasing.

Review
This episode is good for Halloween, but it reminds me of Percy and the Monster of Brendam. The fog wasn't to thick on this episode though.

Review
This was a good episode, I like the background music on these new episode's. Charlies joke's are still no good, but it's nice to see more expression on the workmen and rolling stock.

S18 Episode Review: Thomas the Quarry Engine

 Season 18, Episode 1
Air Date: Unknown, from Trouble on the Tracks DVD
Written By: Andrew Brenner

Summary
Thomas and Diesel were going to the quarry to take some truck's to the dock's, but Diesel and Thomas wouldn't stop arguing about who should be the back engine, so Diesel hooked on to the back, and Mavis took the front, leaving Thomas in charge of the quarry. While Thomas was waiting at the Quarry, Toby came by to get some workmen with Henrietta.

Diesel got Mavis to do other job's, but Thomas got inpatient and took the truck's him self. The truck's said they would behave, but then they started pushing and pulling. Thomas crashed in to the buffer's at the bottom of the hill, and the truck's went in a pattern off the line. Sir Topham Hatt got cross with Thomas, but discovered it was Diesel's fault for taking Mavis to do other job's away from the quarry.

Review
This episode was great, and it's nice to see Henrietta speak. The truck's talking and having expression's was also a really nice touch. Diesel seam's to be back to his old miss behaviour, and Sir Topham Hatt's personality has changed since Andrew Brenner took over the series. Another improvement is that Thomas had a brake van. Over all the episode was awesome.

Percyno6 Upload's Last Episode of Season 4

Percyno6, a popular member of the Thomas Wooden Railway Community, is now on the last episode of season four of  his Thomas Wooden Railway series. He stated in the description of the video that he will have another movie out in week's.

The episode is titled Invadors at Knapford, and you can watch it below.

Thomas Wooden Railway Marion Coming Soon

Jlouvier posted a video review of the new 2014 Marion for Thomas Wooden Railway. He stated that it would be in toy store's for about $15.00, but if you want it early it's on ebay for $50 from Hong Kong, that price is way to high.

Marion is steam shovel with a bucket in front of her face, which is kind of strange. The toy is wood except for the moving bucket in the front.
