Episode Review: Series 19, Episode 7 - Salty All At Sea

Released On: Tales of the Rails DVD
Written By: Lee Pressman

Summary
Porter and Salty were at the docks one day, and it was quite. Salty was about to tell a story, but then Thomas came by with Sir Topham Hatt. Sir Topham Hatt told Salty he was needed at the Mainland dock's, but Salty was scared to go on the ship, so he hid from Cranky.

Salty took Edward's cars to Wellsworth to keep himself busy. Meanwhile Edward showed up at the Docks wondering where his car's were, and Sir Topham Hatt wondered where Salty had gone. Then Thomas went to the station to collect his passengers, but Salty had taken them to Knapford in an old coach he found in the yard behind the station.

Thomas tried to catch up with Salty, and found him in a shed by Tidmouth. Salty told Thomas he was scared because he never went on a ship, and because of the scary stories he heard. Thomas told Salty that he made up most of the stories, and then by next morning Salty wasn't scared to go anymore, and Cranky loaded him on to the ship.

A few week's latter Salty came back, and had enjoyed his trip to the Mainland. And was telling stories once again.

My Thoughts
This was a good episode, and it's nice that the troublesome truck's talk and have face expression's now. The sunset scene at the end was also nice.

Episode Review: Series 19, Episode 6 - Very Important Sheep

DVD Released On: Tales On the Rails
Written By: Helen Farrall

Summary
One night Sir Topham Hatt came to the shed to tell Percy he had to take some sheep to the spring fair the next morning. In the morning Percy was late with his mail train, and rushed to collect his car, but didn't notice he had bumped a hole in the back of it.

Percy soon arrived at farmer McColl's farm, and collected the sheep. Then he went to get some water, but the first sheep went out the back hole. The rest of the way to the spring fair, Percy lost a sheep every time he stopped.

A little while latter Thomas was coming down the same line, and then he saw the first sheep. Then Thomas soon collected all the lost sheep from Percy on his way to the fair. Percy arrived at the fair first and realized that all the sheep escaped through the hole.

Then Thomas came with the sheep all on board Annie. Farmer McColl was happy that Thomas had rescued his sheep. And Annie hoped that she would never have to carry live stock again.

My Thoughts
This was a great episode, and it's nice to have one without a train crash. Trevor also made a CGI cameo at the end of this episode. I did find the episode a bit repetitive though.

New "Rescue the Runaway" Episode on Official Thomas & Friends You Tube Channel

A new episode made by the Thomas Creator's Collective is now on the official Thomas & Friends You Tube channel titled "Rescue the Runaway".

The story is about how Thomas has to work at the quarry, but accidentally bumps Percy causing him to runaway with out a driver and fireman. In the end Thomas catches Percy. This episode remind's me of the old model episode "Percy Runs Away", and it's nice that they add background music from the classic series.
