Episode Review: Thomas & the Special Letter

Season 4, Episode 22

Summary

Thomas was going to the junction, Percy was there, he was on his way to the station. Toby wondered what was going on, then Bill, Ben, Duck, Oliver, Donald and Douglas puffed past, they were going to the station to. When they got there Sir Top Ham Hatt was there, he read a letter that said a little girl wanted to invite them to the station in the big city. Sir Top Ham Hatt said they would all go there, but other engine's would have to do the work while they were away, Thomas and Oliver practised with some other coaches. 

Thomas was taking about his race with Bertie, then he raced through a fence, slide down a slope and damaged his buffers. Sir Top Ham Hatt said if he wasn't fixed in time, he might now be able to go. When the big day came all the engines were ready at the junction, Thomas came just after eight. When they got there lot's of kid's were excited to see them at the station.

Review

It was strange that Donald and Douglas didn't go to the station. When the narrator said the engines were meeting at the station, they were really meeting at Tidmouth sheds, that's a big error. You could see Bill or Ben looking at Thomas when he crashes through the buffers, I'm not sure which engine it is. The image I found on the TTTE Wikia seems to be dusty from the crash.
