Well, it's the end of the Reverend W. Awdry and Christopher Awdry episodes. I'm surprised that Christopher Awdry didn't write that many episodes. Now Britt Allcroft and David Mitton take over the writing, for now.
Air Date: September 1st, 1998
Writer(s): Britt Allcroft and David Mitton
Summary
Thomas and Percy were at the docks, it was Cranky the cranes first day. He was rude and bossy to them. Thomas and Percy told Gordon and James about Cranky, when Cranky heard that they agreed with him, he was even more bossy.
Then Sir Top Ham Hatt told Thomas and Percy to go to there sheds until morning. That night there was a big storm, the other engines were in a shed at the docks, but a old steam ship came and knocked it over, along with Cranky.
The next day Sir Top Ham Hatt came, and Cranky told him he was rude to Thomas and Percy, after they rescued him Cranky started clearing the broken shed. Cranky called them "mites", Percy got angry, and didn't know he was still hooked to Cranky, so he pulled him over. Cranky never called the engines "bugs" again.

Review
I didn't really like this episode, but I didn't know the crane with no face had a name, his name is Big Mickey, from the Tugs series. This episode is still teaching children revenge. In a latter episode Salty tells the story of the ship crash in this episode to Bill and Ben, but he isn't seen in this episode.
Over all I give this episode a 3/10
