Episode Review: Lady Hatt's Birthday Party

Season 5, Episode 4
Air Date: September 9th, 1998
Writer(s): Britt Allcroft, Daivd Mitton, David Maidment

Summary
Thomas and Percy were idling in the yard, Bertie pulled up wondering why Sir Top Ham Hatt wasn't himself. It was because it was Lady hatt's birthday. Sir Top Ham Hatt was in the office admiring his new suite.

Then he changed and left, he took the car, but he soon came to a hole and stopped. Caroline came and took him up the road until she over heated, then he saw George, he took him to Thomas, but as he got there something snapped and Sir Top Ham Hatt tumbled in the mud pond.

Thomas took him to the station and Sir Top Ham Hatt was the fireman because Thomas' fireman was ill. He got to the station just in time for the party, he bought some flowers and went in. Lady Hatt joked about how dirty Sir Top Ham Hatt was, everyone else laughed.

Review
Sir Top Ham Hatt should have steered around the hole. It was funny when Sir Top Ham Hatt fell in the mud pond, kind of like the new CGI episode where Sir Top Ham Hatt and Mr. Bubbles spin in the duck pond, but in there car. Sir Top Ham Hatt's buttons are missing from his suite at the end.

Over all I give this episode a 1/10
