Episode Review: Toby & the Flood

Summary

It was raining for weeks on Sodor, Toby was tired of the rain. Then Toby saw Percy, then Toby went to inspect the dam, it was the only thing keeping the water from rising. Once Toby got on the dam he saw it was braking.

When he got back he had to cross a unsafe bridge that Percy was on the other side of. When he got to the middle there was trouble, the dam broke and the water got higher, making the bridge brake. Soon Toby and his driver were heading for a water fall.

Harold was there, he through a rope to Toby, then to Percy, and together they rescued Toby. Latter, when the floods were over and the dam was fixed, they had a party for Toby, hosted by Sir Top Ham Hatt, and Percy hopped he would never have to be brave.

My Own Thoughts

One problem with this episode is why did Toby stay in the middle of the bridge when he could have crossed it in time? It was nice to see the mail van again, and the over all episode was very well done. I enjoyed the background music, it made it more scary. They should have showed the water fall because it looked like the stream kept going and there was no water fall.
